Buy/Sell Transactions

When buying or selling real property the purchase or sale is often of great value and having your rights protected during this large transaction should be essential. Allen Texas Attorneys can help resolve title issues, ensure legal compliance, ensure documents are properly executed and recorded, resolve disputes between parties, and more.

Landlord/Tenant Disputes

There are laws in place to protect both landlord and tenant parties. Allen Texas Attorneys works with both landlord and tenant parties located in Collin County Texas to provide legal advice and guidance in protecting their rights whether it be during the lease review process or an eviction.

Survivorship Agreements for Community Property

By default, community property does not include survivorship rights. On the death of one spouse, his or her interest in the property passes to his or her estate instead of directly to the surviving spouse, which includes children from a prior marriage. Therefore, this is a very important tool to use when blended families are involved. Married couples can change this result by filing a Survivorship Agreement document in the deed records. We highly recommend this or a Transfer on Death Deed so the surviving spouse receives ownership of the home when the other spouse passes away.

Receiverships

Receivership is the legal process of using a court-appointed receiver either by agreement as to the receiver or by court order to manage the assets or affairs of an individual or company, often seen in Probate and Family Law disputes, to protect the interests of creditors, owners, and/or beneficiaries. Carolyn Northcutt as a Real Estate Broker and Attorney is able to navigate the complexities of receiverships with expertise.
